Mountain Village RV Park is owned and operated by Jim and Betty Hendricks. Long time residents of Scott Valley, they wanted to provide a way for RVers to experience our beautiful hidden valley in Siskiyou County in the comfort of your own traveling home. They have taken great care in providing a clean and beautiful park for your enjoyment. They have also provided all the conveniences you will need to make your stay with us comfortable. Being aware that many of our RV friends are communicating with friends and family by internet these days, they have provided WI-FI for all our RV guest with no charge. Their goal is to make your visit with us enjoyable and relaxing so that you will want to come back and visit us again.
Our park is located in historic Etna, California . A beautiful scenic drive awaits you as you leave Yreka and head towards Etna. You will climb over Forest Mountain and then begin descending into Scott Valley. It will definitely be a breathtaking site for those of you who have never visited Scott Valley. The valley is a colorful patchwork of many different farm lands surrounded by snowcapped mountains. You can set back and take in this beautiful view from our park.
Visiting our small community is like stepping back in time, to a time when things were less complicated and hectic. With everything being in fast forward these days, you will enjoy the quiet and calming atmosphere that Etna provides for visitors to our park. Our local residents are some of the nicest and friendliest people you will ever find. You will hardly be able to drive around our valley without being greeted by someone.
| Our area provides many different recreational activities for you. We have many areas for hunting and fishing. We have high mountain lakes you can visit in the Russian Wilderness and Marble Mountains for those who may like backpacking or day hikes. Gold has been found in our local rivers so you might try your luck at panning for gold. We also have local guides who can take you whitewater rafting down our rivers if you are looking for some excitement. You may want to mountain bike through our rural roads that wind through our beautiful valley or perhaps look at the many different varieties of wildlife that frequent our valley. |

We have many local interests to keep you busy while you stay with us. There is a local museum for you to visit in the town of Fort Jones. There you can learn about the rich history of our valley. We have a local winery just outside Fort Jones where you can go and taste some of our local wines. Etna also has a local brewery for you to taste some valley brewed beer. Many old Victorian homes in Etna have been restored that you can drive by and observe. Etna and Fort Jones also have quaint little shops for you to visit including an antique store and flower shop. We have many wonderful local restaurants for those of you who would like a vacation from cooking. You can also enjoy the local events we have through out the year such as our very popular Etna Rodeo.
